With over ten years experience as a performer and music tutor, Cameron’s knowledge and versatility has kept him busy since completing his Bachelor of Contemporary Music in 2011. He has worked in a wide range of settings, both in private studios and primary/secondary schools, and has taught students of all ages and ability levels, from young children just starting out to experienced musicians twice his age.

Cameron prides himself on giving all of his students something new to take away from every lesson. His main passions are improvisation and songwriting, but he always focuses on ensuring that each student is achieving their own personal goals through learning music that inspires them. He likes to instil a good understanding of the fundamentals of music and has a wealth of knowledge and experience with all contemporary styles. His relaxed and friendly demeanour allows everyone to progress at their own pace while having fun along the way.

Cameron Taberner currently has lesson slots available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at High Street Music Preston. Our music lessons service Melbourne’s northern suburbs including Preston, Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Reservoir, Thornbury, Northcote, Bundoora, Coburg, Bellfield, Kingsbury, Fawkner, Thomastown and Lalor.
