Joel Keane finished his Arts Degree in 2005. The following year he completed a diploma of education and has been teaching ever since. He has taught at all high school year levels as well as undergraduate university. In 2017 He recommenced his studies at Collarts Music College doing an advanced diploma in guitar performance.
Over the years Joel has learnt from some of Melbourne’s best guitar players; chiefly Paul Carey and Brett Langsford. He is an accomplished songwriter with a great love or many styles of guitar playing, include jazz, blues, prog rock. He excels in making music theory engaging and applying it to the art of playing guitar.
Joel Keane currently has lesson slots available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at High Street Music Preston. Our music lessons service Melbourne’s northern suburbs including Preston, Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Reservoir, Thornbury, Northcote, Bundoora, Coburg, Bellfield, Kingsbury, Fawkner, Thomastown and Lalor.
